JOURNEY represents every journey our products take—creating conversations, friendships, and memories wherever they go.
That is the meaning of ENGAWAJOURNEY.
Our Origin
Born from Japanese Teaching experience
ENGAWAJOURNEY was created by Japanese language teachers.
Many of our students told us,
“I studied Japanese, but everyone speaks to me in English.”
At the same time, many Japanese people wanted to talk to foreigners but didn’t know how to start.
So we designed products that make the first conversation easier.
Our Vision
One word can start a conversation.
One conversation can build understanding.
And understanding can create a better world.
We believe language has the power to bring people together.
ENGAWAJOURNEY designs wearable Japanese that helps make those first conversations happen.
Our designs encourage Japanese people to start conversations with visitors from around the world, while giving Japanese learners the opportunity to use the language they have worked so hard to learn.
When people share words, they also share cultures, perspectives, and experiences.
That is how connections grow.
